"Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting in Washington State Carjacking Incident"

A carjacking in Hazel Dell, WA led to an officer-involved shooting at the American Legion Hall, resulting in the death of the male suspect. The female suspect was later taken into custody. No deputies were injured, and the incident is under investigation by the SW Washington Independent Investigation Team. Body camera and in-car camera footage will be reviewed and released at a later time.
