Ex-Maryland Governor's Chief of Staff Killed in FBI Shootout in Tennessee.

The FBI is investigating the shooting that killed Roy McGrath, former top aide to ex-Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, in Tennessee. McGrath was on the run for weeks after skipping out on his federal fraud trial in Baltimore. It is unclear whether he shot himself or was shot by law enforcement agents during the encounter. McGrath was facing a maximum of 100 years in federal prison for charges of illegally recording Hogan and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from state government.
