Eagle Scout and engaged Home Depot employee killed while trying to stop theft

A Home Depot employee, identified as Blake Mohs, was shot and killed while trying to stop an in-store robbery in Pleasanton, California. Mohs was a Boy Scout leader and engaged to be married later this summer. The suspects, identified as Benicia Knapps and David Guillory, were arrested on suspicion of murder, robbery, child endangerment, and conspiracy. Mohs was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in 2014 and was a valuable member of the community. Home Depot expressed their condolences and called the tragedy senseless.
