Dog bites Home Depot customer in the face, investigation ongoing.

An investigation is underway after a woman was allegedly bitten by a dog at a Home Depot in Evergreen. Jefferson County Animal Control investigators are waiting for medical records to determine the extent and type of the injuries before deciding if charges need to be filed. The dog's owners and a trainer were present when the incident occurred, but they left the scene. The dog is now in quarantine, and the victim declined to speak to the media. Home Depot does not allow animals in their stores except for service animals, but individual stores may tolerate dogs that are properly secured at their discretion.
