Defendants in High-End Brothel Case Ordered Detained by Judge

Two defendants accused of running high-end brothels in Boston and Virginia will remain in detention following a judge's ruling. Prosecutors presented evidence of large sums of money, detailed ledgers, and instructions given by the alleged leader of the brothel network, Han Lee. The clients of the brothels, which included politicians, business executives, doctors, military members, and government contractors, have not been named. Han Lee concealed over $1 million in proceeds and had impeccable financial and business record keeping, according to prosecutors. The defendants have been charged with conspiring to engage in prostitution.
