Decades-Old Mystery Solved: Remains Found in Kentucky Lake Identified as FBI Fugitive

Human remains found in Lake Barkley, Kentucky, almost 25 years ago have finally been identified as Roger Dale Parham. The body, wrapped in tire chains and anchored with a hydraulic jack, had remained unidentified until genealogy DNA testing by Othram Inc. linked a relative to the remains. Parham, who was awaiting trial on criminal charges in Arkansas, disappeared in March 1999 and was thought to have left the area to escape prosecution. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
