Decades-Long Mystery Solved: Killer of 9-Year-Old Georgia Girl Identified

After more than 50 years, cold case detectives have identified William Rose as the alleged killer of 9-year-old Debbie Lynn Randall, who was abducted, raped, and killed in 1972. Rose, who committed suicide in 1974, was identified through DNA testing on evidence from the crime scene. The Cobb County District Attorney's Office expressed sorrow for Randall's parents, who have since passed away, and her brother thanked everyone involved in bringing closure to the case.
