Deadly shooting at Juneteenth celebration in Illinois leaves 1 dead and over 20 injured

One person was killed and at least 22 others were injured in a mass shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in Willowbrook, Illinois. The shooting occurred in a parking lot where more than 200 teenagers and young adults had gathered for a party. Police patrolling the area were called away to respond to another report of a fight nearby, and returned to the gathering after hearing gunshots. The suspects fired multiple rounds from multiple weapons into the crowd, and their identities and motive are currently unknown. An investigation is underway.
