Convicted 'Mountain Dew Man' murders retired couple on hiking trail

Logan Clegg, a 27-year-old vagrant known as the "Mountain Dew Man," has been convicted of the double murder of a retired couple on a hiking trail in New Hampshire. Clegg, who had been camping near the victims' home, was found guilty of all charges, including second-degree murder and falsifying physical evidence. The victims, Stephen and Djeswende Reid, were humanitarian workers who had retired to New Hampshire. Clegg had a criminal history that included burglaries and shoplifting, as well as a previous killing in Washington in 2018. He now faces life in prison.
