Chicago Police Officer Struck by Vehicle on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in South Loop.

A Chicago police officer was hit by a vehicle on DuSable Lake Shore Drive after stopping a car matching the description of one wanted in connection to an aggravated battery to a police officer earlier this month. Shots were fired by police, but no one was hit. The suspects were arrested after trying to run away. The officer is in good condition with a broken leg. The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating an officer-involved shooting near the Field Museum.
