"Chicago Man Receives 88-Year Sentence for Oak Brook Hotel Sexual Assault"

Julius Ramsey, a 41-year-old man from Chicago, has been sentenced to 88 years in jail for sexually assaulting a female hotel employee at gunpoint in Oak Brook in 2019. Ramsey was found guilty of three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault with a firearm, one count of aggravated kidnapping with a firearm, and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The assault took place in a vacant hotel room, where Ramsey repeatedly assaulted the victim and threatened her life. He will be required to serve at least 85% of his sentence before being eligible for parole.
