Charlotte Bus Driver and Passenger Engage in Dramatic Shootout on Moving Bus

A bus driver and passenger in Charlotte, North Carolina, shot at each other following an argument over an unscheduled stop, leaving both men injured. The altercation escalated into a verbal argument before both men drew weapons and began shooting at each other, with two bystanders on the bus fleeing to the back. The passenger, Omarri Shariff Tobias, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injuries, communicating threats, and carrying a concealed firearm. The bus driver, David Fullard, was terminated by his employer, RATP Dev, following the shooting.
