Chapmanville's Ex-K-9 Handler Faces Arrest

Marcus Dudley, a former Chapmanville K-9 handler, has been arrested in Georgia after failing to appear in court for his arraignment in Kanawha County. Dudley had reported his K-9 officer, Chase, missing in April 2023. He is facing six misdemeanor charges, including falsely reporting an emergency incident, making false statements, obstructing an officer, and cruelty to animals. Dudley had previously been fired from the Chapmanville Police Department.
