Samuel Hartman, a convicted child rapist who escaped from an Arkansas prison with the help of his wife, mother, and her boyfriend, has been captured after a year on the run. Hartman, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2013, escaped during a work detail in August 2022. Authorities located him and his alleged accomplices at a hotel in West Virginia. His wife, mother, and her boyfriend are now facing charges for aiding a sex offender and helping the fugitives evade authorities.
