Breakthrough in Investigation: Person of Interest Identified in Watertown Homicide of Elderly Woman

New York State Police have determined that 88-year-old Rena Eves died from blunt force trauma in her Watertown apartment. A person of interest has been identified, and there is no current threat to the public. Eves, known for her loving and generous nature, was a member and volunteer at Trinity Episcopal Church. Calling hours and a memorial service have been scheduled.
