Atlanta Shooting Suspect's Mother Reveals Son's Mental Illness

The mother of Deion Patterson, the man charged with shooting five women, killing one of them, inside a medical facility in Midtown Atlanta, has spoken out about her son's history with mental illness. Minyone Patterson offered her condolences to the victims and their families and said her son has an affliction with mental illness. She also stated that there are a lot of false statements being made about her son and that they have received death threats.
