Arsonist Strikes Multiple Stores in Metairie, Prompting Investigation

A man named Samir Hernandez has been arrested for intentionally setting four fires, including inside a Walmart and Home Depot in Metairie, Louisiana. The fires caused heavy smoke damage and prompted the closure of the Walmart. Hernandez also confessed to setting fire to two trash cans in a nearby neighborhood. He has been booked on multiple charges related to arson and criminal damage. No injuries were reported.
