Arrested Sex Offender Kills Man, Injures Another near RTS Transit Center

Jamel Robinson, a registered sex offender with a history of convictions, has been arrested and charged with murder and assault following a fatal shooting near the RTS Transit Center in Rochester, New York. Robinson allegedly followed and shot Kevin Rigdon multiple times before shooting another man and fleeing the scene. Rigdon died at the scene, while the second victim remains hospitalized. Robinson was apprehended with a loaded handgun and is prohibited from possessing firearms due to previous convictions. Police credit citizen tips for the arrest.
