Arrest made in school shooting threat that caused panic in Florida districts.

An 18-year-old student at Taravella High School in Florida was arrested for posting a threatening message on social media about a school shooting. The post was made fraudulently using another student's name and computer access. The threat caused concern in several counties throughout Florida, but it did not mention a specific school or school district. The Palm Beach County School District Police Chief said that based on the information from Broward County, they were able to determine the threat was not targeting any schools in Palm Beach County. Parents and students were urged to report any credible information and not to share information that is not credible.
