Arrest made in Newton triple murder case.

Christopher Ferguson, a Newton man, has been arrested and charged with murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and burglary in connection with a triple murder at a home in Newton. The victims, Bruno D'Amore, his wife Gilda D'Amore, and Gilda's mother Lucia Arpino, suffered stab wounds and blunt force trauma. There was no apparent connection between the victims and the suspect, and investigators said it appears to be a random act. Ferguson is expected to face additional charges pending results of autopsies.
