Newly released video and audio recordings from a September 2022 vehicle pursuit show that 15-year-old Savannah Graziano, who had been reported kidnapped by her father, was fatally shot by gunfire from deputies as she followed their instructions to exit her father’s truck. The incident occurred a day after an Amber Alert was issued for her, and her father, Anthony Graziano, had killed his wife and fired at a father and child near a school in Fontana, California. The California Department of Justice is investigating the episode, and the footage and recordings were released by the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department to a journalist who had filed a records request.
