Mapping the Legalization of Marijuana Across the US

Cannabis enthusiasts in over 20 states and Washington, D.C. can legally purchase marijuana for 4/20, while medicinal use is legal in 38 states. The legalized marijuana market is now worth $64 billion, nearly tripling over the last three years. A Coresight Research report found that about two-thirds of marijuana users have increased their drug usage since legalization. President Biden announced in October that he would pardon all prior federal offenses of simple marijuana possession and called on governors to pardon simple state possession offenses.
