Fatal Small Plane Crashes Cause Road Closures and Tragedy Near Buchanan Field Airport

A pilot was killed when a small plane, a Van's Aircraft RV-6, crashed near Buchanan Field Airport in Concord, coming to rest at an intersection near the airport runway. The pilot was the only person on board, and a vehicle on the ground was also involved in the crash, with the driver sustaining minor injuries.
