Chance, a 100-pound Rottweiler-pit bull mix, died in a California animal hospital after being stung more than 700 times by a swarm of bees. The dog was playing outside when a neighbor tried to remove a large bee nest from his wooden fence. The neighbor was able to escape on a golf cart, but the bees attacked Chance. A GoFundMe page was set up to help with medical bills, which raised more than $10,700. Chance received a blood transfusion but ultimately passed away.
