Firefighters in Rochester responded to a chemical explosion at the Arxada specialty chemicals company, causing extensive damage to the building and internal equipment. The hazmat team contained the situation, preventing any chemicals from being released beyond the property. Fortunately, the plant was not operational at the time, and no injuries were reported.
