Multiple Crashes on PCH: 2 Dead, Deputy and K-9 Injured

Two people were killed and one person was arrested after a double crash on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in the Oxnard area. The first crash involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Nissan Sentra, resulting in the death of the Sentra's driver and major injuries to the passenger. Shortly after, a Scion FRS struck the disabled Golf. In a separate incident, a Ventura County Sheriff's deputy responding to a call about a suspicious person was hit by a drunken driver near Neptune's Net. The deputy sustained minor injuries, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
