Fatal Crash on Parkway Onramp Claims Westmoreland County Man's Life in Wilkinsburg

A 47-year-old man from Westmoreland County was killed in a crash on the eastbound Parkway East on-ramp in Wilkinsburg. The crash occurred when the vehicle crossed a lane of travel, hit an embankment, and rolled onto its roof. The passenger, identified as Michael Zappone of Latrobe, died as a result of the crash. Charges are possible pending an investigation.
