Fatal Crash Near St. Joseph Claims One Life

A two-vehicle crash occurred outside of St. Joseph on U.S. Route 150 on the evening of April 30, resulting in the death of Rebecca Gerald, 62, of St. Joseph. The crash is under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the Champaign County Coroner's office. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle involved were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The road was closed for six hours for investigation.
