Driver Miraculously Survives Being Ejected from RV onto Busy Freeway

An elderly man survived being thrown from a moving RV into oncoming traffic on the 14 Freeway in California after his wife fell asleep at the wheel. Dashcam footage captured the dramatic moment as the RV hit the concrete divider, hurling the man into the carpool lane. Good Samaritan Alf Smithey found the man conscious and breathing, with injuries, and helped him until emergency responders arrived. The man was taken to the hospital, and lanes on both sides of the freeway were temporarily closed.
