Amtrak train derails in California after collision with truck

An Amtrak train derailed in southern California after colliding with a county water truck, resulting in minor injuries to 14 people. The truck driver suffered a head injury and was taken to a trauma center. The train, carrying nearly 200 passengers, was traveling from Los Angeles to Seattle when the accident occurred. Three of the train's seven cars veered off the tracks, but remained upright, limiting the injuries. A small fire under the train was quickly extinguished. Amtrak is conducting a full investigation into the incident.
