Walmart Expands HIV Healthcare Support with Specialty Pharmacies

Walmart has announced the opening of 70 new HIV-focused Specialty Pharmacies of the Community (SPOC) across the United States, with the aim of providing specialized care and removing barriers to HIV treatment. These pharmacies, staffed by HIV-trained pharmacists, technicians, and Community Health Workers, will help individuals living with HIV manage their condition by offering treatment options, mental health support, insurance guidance, and resources. Walmart plans to expand its focus to autoimmune conditions in the future.
