Expanding Healthcare Facilities: New Locations and Centers Open for Better Care

IU Health has provided a personal tour of its newest medical office building in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The 55,000-square-foot facility offers primary doctors, advanced imaging, cardiology, orthopedics, and general surgery. The president of IU Health Northeast Region, Brian Bauer, expressed overwhelming response and highlighted the organization's growth, from one patient in 2018 to over 30,000 patients currently seeking care with IU Health in Fort Wayne. While the facility has been seeing patients since February, Bauer mentioned that IU Health wanted to settle in before inviting the community for tours, and expressed hopes for further growth and additional facilities in northeast Indiana.
