HBO Developing Baldur’s Gate Series From Craig Mazin as Post-BG3 Continuation

Deadline reports HBO is developing Baldur’s Gate as a series from The Last of Us co-creator Craig Mazin, continuing the BG3 story after the game’s events. Mazin will create, write, executive produce and showrun, with Hasbro Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast consultants; the show will feature both existing BG3 characters and new ones, and Mazin has freedom to shape the direction beyond the game’s narrative.
