Eddie Kingston emerged victorious as the first AEW Triple Crown champion at Worlds End on Dec. 30, defeating Jon Moxley in the final of the Continental Classic tournament. Despite Moxley's strategy to keep the match on the mat, Kingston's brawling style prevailed. Both competitors showcased resilience, but Kingston's backfist and Northern Lights Bomb ultimately secured his win. Alongside the victory, Kingston also retained his Ring of Honor World and NJPW Strong Openweight titles and was awarded the new Continental title, marking a significant milestone in his wrestling career.
