Jay-Z and Beyonce have purchased a 40,000-square-foot mansion in Malibu, California for $200 million, making it the most expensive home ever sold in California and the second-priciest real estate deal in United States history. The home overlooks the Pacific Ocean and sits on 8 acres in the Paradise Cove enclave. It was designed by famed Japanese architect Tadao Ando and reportedly took 15 years to build. The couple purchased the mega-house from William Bell Jr., one of the largest art collectors in the world, and were able to knock $95 million off the original listing price of $295 million.
