Susan Sarandon's Arrest at Unrelated NY Protest.

Actress and activist Susan Sarandon was among nine people arrested during a protest organized by One Fair Wage in New York City. The demonstration called for an end to the subminimum wage for tipped workers and for the minimum wage to be raised to $15 an hour. Sarandon has a history of political activism and was previously arrested in 2018 while protesting against former President Donald Trump's immigration policy. She also recently joined the writers' strike picket line in support of the union.
