Lady Gaga appointed co-chair of revived arts committee by President Biden.

President Joe Biden has appointed Lady Gaga and Bruce Cohen as co-chairs of the revived Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, which advises the President and heads of US cultural agencies on policy, philanthropic and private sector engagement, and other efforts to enhance federal support for the arts, humanities, and museum and library services. The committee was founded by former President Ronald Reagan in 1982 and was disbanded by former President Donald Trump in 2017. Gaga and Cohen will be joined on the committee by fellow entertainment industry professionals such as Jon Batiste, Shonda Rhimes, George Clooney, Kerry Washington, Troy Kotsur, and Jennifer Garner.
