Controversy Surrounds Roger Waters Ahead of Frankfurt Concert

Jewish groups, politicians, and civil society groups protested against a concert by Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters in Frankfurt, accusing him of antisemitism and supporting the BDS movement. Frankfurt authorities initially tried to prevent the concert, but Waters successfully challenged the move in a local court. The concert took place in the city's Festhalle, where in November 1938 more than 3,000 Jews were rounded up by the Nazis. Waters has also drawn criticism for wearing a costume in Berlin that some say glorified Nazi rule.
