Biden Cancels Meeting with Gladys Knight's Husband on PPE Company.

Gladys Knight and her husband, William McDowell, have been trying to secure a meeting with President Biden to discuss the issue of Black businesses being passed up for government contracts. However, they claim that Biden has refused to meet with them, despite presenting Knight with the National Medal of Arts last week. The couple believes that this is a larger issue of Black businesses continually coming in last for federal contracts, which they feel is a civil rights issue. They have tried all channels to get to Biden, but to no avail, and wonder if he simply doesn't care.
