The announcement was made by the Country Music Association, with singer John Anderson and guitarist James Burton also being inducted. Keith, who had publicly shared his cancer diagnosis in 2022, continued performing until his passing and will be honored at this year's Country Music Hall of Fame Medallion Ceremony on October 20.
