Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens dedicates his new album, Javelin, to his late partner Evans Richardson, describing him as the "light of his life" and his "best friend". Stevens, who has kept his personal life private throughout his career, revealed that the inspiration behind the album was the loss of Richardson, who passed away in April.
