"Jakob Nowell Honors Late Father Bradley at Sublime's Coachella Performance"

Jakob Nowell, son of Sublime's late frontman Bradley Nowell, joined original band members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson for a performance at Coachella, carrying on his father's legacy by playing his custom guitar and Mesa Boogie amp. This marked the first time since 1996 that the green drum kit and Bradley's guitar shared the same stage. Prior to this, Jakob had been involved in other musical projects, including singing for the band LAW and starting a new project called Jakobs Castle. Sublime With Rome, an offshoot band formed after Bradley's death, announced its farewell tour, with original members of Sublime not participating, leading to the new Sublime with Jakob Nowell.
