The film portrays Najeeb's struggle in the Gulf, where he and a friend are taken to separate desert camps to herd goats, highlighting the contrast between Kerala's lushness and the desert's cruelty. While the second half falls slightly short and lacks emotional resonance, Prithviraj's portrayal of Najeeb's resilience is commendable, supported by excellent cinematography and soulful music by AR Rahman.
