Anderson Cooper to Headline CNN's New Sunday Investigative Journalism Show

Anderson Cooper will lead CNN's new Sunday newsmagazine, "The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper," which will present one-hour deep dives into specific topics, interviews, profiles, and investigations. The show will debut on April 16 at 8 p.m. and will focus on a single topic for its entire length. The show has been on CNN's drawing board for nearly a year and is an attempt to challenge CBS' "60 Minutes" and NBC News' failed attempts to mount a rival newsmagazine. Several episodes of "Whole Story" have already been sketched out, covering topics such as San Francisco's political and social issues, Johnson & Johnson's talc baby powder, psilocybin, the coronation of King Charles III, and migrants seeking asylum in the United States.
