Google Wins Big as YouTube Anti-Piracy Lawsuit Gets Dismissed

Grammy Award winner Maria Schneider's class action lawsuit against YouTube over anti-piracy tools has been dismissed with prejudice, meaning she cannot sue over this again. The trial was scheduled to begin on June 12th, but a federal judge decided the case could not continue as a class action lawsuit. The decision dwindled the number of copyright owners involved in the case to Schneider, Uniglobe Entertainment, and AST Publishing. After losing, both sides have decided to have the case dismissed.
