"The Zone of Interest": A Chilling Holocaust Drama that Demands Best Director Recognition

A24 has released the trailer for Jonathan Glazer's German-language Holocaust drama "The Zone of Interest," which tells the story of real-life German SS officer Rudolf Höss and his wife Hedwig, who raised their children next to Auschwitz. The film, based on Martin Amis' book of the same name, won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival and explores the compartmentalization of evil. It stars Christian Friedel and Sandra Hüller and is set to premiere in the U.S. on December 8.
