Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom failed to deliver on its intriguing ethical questions and instead relied on nonstop spectacle, paper-thin villains, and heroes with shifting motivations. The movie's bait and switch spoke to the fact that the Jurassic franchise had lost sight of what it was doing. The ultimate example of blockbusters making everything up as they go along, Fallen Kingdom was slapdash, ridiculous, and just not very fun, which is a sin when dinosaurs are involved.
