'Paul Schrader Declares 'Oppenheimer' the Ultimate Film of the Century, Blowing the Door Off the Hinges'

Paul Schrader, writer of "Taxi Driver" and director of "The Card Counter," has declared Christopher Nolan's upcoming film "Oppenheimer" as the "best, most important film of this century" after attending its New York premiere. Based on the book "American Prometheus," the film follows the creation of the atomic bomb through the eyes of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, played by Cillian Murphy. The star-studded cast includes Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, and Benny Safdie. "Oppenheimer" is set to release in theaters on July 21.
