'Sound of Freedom' Surpasses 'Indiana Jones' and 'Mission: Impossible' at the Box Office

Distributor Angel Studios has announced that they have paid back their 6,678 P&A investors 120% of their original investment in the film "Sound of Freedom," which has surpassed the domestic box office earnings of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny." The movie, directed by Alejandro Monteverde, tells the story of a former government agent who rescues a little girl from sex traffickers in the Colombian jungle. Despite being embraced by right-wing groups and associated with conspiracy theories, Monteverde has distanced himself from these claims, stating that the film does not contain any political themes. "Sound of Freedom" will be released in 21 overseas territories before September 1.
