Fleetwood Mac singer Christine McVie died from an ischemic stroke at age 79, with an undisclosed malignant cancer and atrial fibrillation listed as contributing factors, according to her death certificate. McVie joined the band in 1970 as a co-vocalist and keyboard player, writing classic hits such as "Everywhere" and "Don't Stop." Her bandmates and friends paid tribute to her on social media and at the 2023 Grammys, where she won a posthumous Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals.
